3 Wedding Bus Hire Tips

Blog

Are you looking for an efficient means to transport your wedding guests? If you are, you should consider wedding bus hire. Besides the convenience of transporting all your guests in one vehicle, bus hire makes your wedding orderly since you require less parking space. Below is an extract with some interesting tips on wedding bus hire.

Tip 1: Consider Comfortable Buses

It's your wedding day! Although you could be on a budget, you do not want your guests to arrive at the wedding venue tired. As such, you should assess the comfort features of the bus that you intend to hire. For example, if guests will travel for long distances, the bus should have reclining seats and charging ports. For short distances, you would be interested in entertainment features such as onboard Wi-Fi, drinks, and music systems.

There are different categories of rental buses for your event. Other than the standard bus, you could also opt for a party bus to transport the bridal party. These buses offer top-notch entertainment that will keep the bridal party energised all day.

Tip 2: Inspect The Bus

A mistake made by most clients is foregoing a bus inspection. As a result, they hire the wrong type of bus or a poorly kept bus. Spare a few hours from your busy schedule to visit the company's premises. During the visit, inspect the bus that you will use. Beware of mechanical issues such as worn-out tires, a leaking engine, or faulty suspension. If you are not experienced in vehicle operations, ask the company to provide you with service and maintenance reports. You should also assess the general condition of the bus. For instance, worn-out seats or a damaged interior might not go too well with some of your guests.

Tip 3: Assess And Negotiate The Terms Of Hire

Each bus hire company has its terms and conditions. However, they will adjust these terms to ensure clients are satisfied with the service. For example, you could ask the company to let you decorate the bus. Moreover, you could ask them to remove penalties for increasing the number of stops or returning the bus late. At your request, the company could organise a city tour package for your guests or the bridal party. For example, they could arrange VIP access to city clubs or tourist attractions for your wedding photoshoot.

When hiring a wedding bus, go for comfortable coaches, inspect the bus and negotiate the terms of hire. As a rule of thumb, you should strictly work with reputable companies.

Cool coach drivers

I really like doing all sorts of little things to make my passengers coach trips just that little bit more comfortable. I have DVDs playing during the day and keep the coach nice and cool at night to help people sleep on those long trips. We make lots of trips to stop and stretch and also take some great photos. Australia can seem stark when you are staring out the coach window but there are some really beautiful spots along my routes that make for some beautiful shots. I meet funny people and have great adventures, which I hope you'll like reading about.
